Ruidoso 2010!

"The Couples" had a little retreat this past weekend to Ruidoso, NM. It is the cutest mountain town. Tel and I even vote that it's cooler than Jackson Hole. Anyways, Will, Katie Jo, Lawrence, Sarah, and Tel and I all rented out a cabin for the weekend. It was the coolest house ever. It was even equipped with a pool table, foosball, a hot tub, and other arcade games!

Tel and I's cute room.

After work on Friday, we jetted up there.

Will made us all dinner, chicken wrapped with peppers and bacon! It was really good.

After dinner, began the Settler of Catan marathon. I played with Lawrence, Will, and Tel until about 1:30am. By this time KJ and Sarah had already gone off to bed. The boys said they were going to play 1 more game. So I went and crashed in bed. At 5:45am, Tel came in and said that they had just finished playing! Sarah I guess wasn't too happy with the boys bringing up the sun, while playing board games. So she sent them to bed. haha.

Anyways, on Saturday we all went and walked the shops downtown. I got a really cute hat and a pair of shoes. We also had to stop by the saloon and take some old western photos! It was such a blast!

Love the finger pointing finger.

Opps!

We had a lot of fun..
Oh no you didn't, Will!
We had some really good bbq for lunch. Then we were off to the horse races. The Ruidoso Down's Track is so huge! I couldn't believe how big it was. All the boys placed a billion bets on horses, and failed every single time. Bahaha. It was a fun afternoon at the track. Us girls were enticed by the ice cream, while the boys were obsessed with gambling. So we were all happy.

Yah! At the Horse Races and Ruidoso Downs!

Saturday evening, Tel and I made tinfoil dinners back at the cabin for dinner. We ended the night playing lots of board games and pool.

Before heading home on Sunday, Tel and I stopped by the resort "Inn of the Mountain Gods". It was really pretty.

We also scouted out the deer we'll be shooting in October..

It was such a fun weekend. We will definitely be heading back to Ruidoso soon!

MRS. PHR

So my big accomplishment lately has been passing the PHR exam! I am now a licensed Professional in Human Resources! I have been studying my butt off since March. And the last couple of weeks I have been buried in PHR flash cards. Poor tel has had to fend for himself for a while now. So my test was a 4 and 1/2 hour exam and was 250 questions. When I had 3 minutes left, I hit the end button, feeling sick to my stomach, knowing that I failed, BUT I DIDN'T. I was so excited when I seen the word "Pass"! I took my test in Roswell, and I was so excited afterwards I had to award myself with a shopping spree at Target. I rationalized to myself that I deserved it. Then we celebrated with Brady and Britney at Lucy's Mexican restaurant for dinner! WHOOT I am now Mrs. PHR according to Tel.

8 DAYS until we're going to IDAHO/UTAH!

We're heading to home in basically a week. I am doing a recruiting fair in Price, Utah, so we're going to head up to Idaho too! Yah! I am finally going to get to see Sara! She came home from her mission like 3 months ago and I haven't seen her yet! Basically 2 years and I'm having withdraws!!!!

Also, I haven't seen my dad's new knee! Ahhhh interested to see him walk.

I get to see Sasha graduate from Highschool!

Yah for getting to golf at home with our cart.

Stoked to dirt bike! :)

I wanna see my nieces and nephews! Brick of the the TV show "The Middle" reminds me of Brystene and makes me miss her!

Getting my hair did....finally from Peggy! It needs some major TLC.

Anyways, just a few things to look forward too!

EPCOT
4/25/10

Our day at Epcot was quite eventful. We got to see what we would look like in the future, we seen our dream gardens, we traveled all around the world, and we ended it running home in the pouring rain! Also, I finally got me a churro! YUM! I think we got that at the country of MEXICO. I really wanted fish and chips from the UK, but didn't happen.  Interesting fact about the fish and chips, during my conference in Florida, a VP from the Disney foundation was one of the speakers. He told us that the very first year they implemented doing fish and chips to go at their United Kingdom restaurant at EPCOT they profited 3 million dollars, off of just FISH and CHIPS to go! This is above and beyond serving fish and chips in the restaurant, only to go orders. Talk about implementing a good idea. Anyways, we watched some Chinese acrobats, went to the flower festival, rode the SOARIN ride to California and drove on the TEST TRAK ride.
